Toasty Toes are beautiful. I couldn't exactly follow what you did to correct the problem, but whatever you did, it worked!!!! See, persistence pays off!! :)

You're so silly!
The sachet bag is a great idea.
If no one has claimed that beautiful hank of purply sock yarn, I'll take it, please!

They turned out great! And what a clever idea to make a sachet out of the leftover part.

So how do you like Toasty Toes? I'm looking for an alternative to Socks that rock...since they are so hard to get.

Lynne, I don't know how you can do all that you do and still crank out the FO's they way you do!
The colors are gorgeous- I particularly love the toes!

woo hoo... you did it! Beautiful.
that's one lucky pal that you have there. and I'm guessing that her kitty will enjoy the catnip bag as well. You are totally clever!

And they got here yesterday! Thank you so much they are beautiful and totally worth waiting for. It hadn't occurred to me to use the sachet as a catnip bag! It is WAY to pretty for that (especially when you consider that the cats who live at my house are criminals). It was a great way to send the darning yarn. I can't tell you how much I love them, they fit perfectly (I am blogging about it right now) and I am so lucky to have had you as a Toasty Toe Pal.
I am thinking of painting my toenails purple first. =)

Lynne, I saw the TT socks over at Em's blog. They are soooooooooo pretty. I'm sure she will enjoy them so much! When we do Blooming Feet in the spring can you ask Amanda to rig it so you get my name and knit me a pair just like these pretty please??! GRIN

Beautiful socks, they don't look at all like trouble ;-) I'm glad you could finish them eventually, it must feel so good not being defeated by a pattern, isn't it? Smart idea to use the left-overs, such a cute bag! Great job, now you deserve a knit for yourself!
