Can we all say, "Awwwwwww..."
Don't you love a picnic? The Special Swap theme this go round was Picnic. A new Swapper, Meg, and I did a personal picnic swap... and she sent a lovely Fall picnic getaway package.
Filled with picnic snacks and other necessities, it also included the Fall Issue of Hallmark magazine, which I of course, devoured cover to cover. Especially lovely was the Briar Rose yarn and fingerless glove pattern.
Thank you Meg! It has been a joy to correspond with you, and hear all about the adoption of your brand new baby boy! He just arrived last week, so Meg has been a busy girl, no doubt!
That said, there will be picnic packages arriving all this week, so watch for a Special Swap Picnic update in the days ahead! It's been a great and challenging theme. I can't wait to see all of those Picinic Baskets, Boo-boo!
To go along with that sweet little MDK kimono, I fashioned a wee little hat, and added a bunch of ribbons a-la Itty BItty Hats...
Then wrapped it up with the kimono and put it in a Chinese take-out container!
Little Amelia Rose will get her sweater and hat tomorrow!
With the two gifts completed this week, I am in New Project Mode....a lot on my mind, and some projects that I MUST do....stay tuned, knitters!

WOW! What a nice swap you had!
I love the lavender baby hat!
