Antiquing.
At our favorite spots: Blue Star Antique Pavilion.
Cottage Corner and Downtown Antiques
and our new fav, Second Chance Design, owned by a very sweet young couple with an eye for style, a love for the Lord, and smitten with each other.
While these are not the treasures we chose, we did find a few special pieces that I'll show you later.
Antiquing.
An inspiring thing to do on a rainy day.
Oh my! I loved the sewing items. And then the snack dished, thermoses and picnic basket. I don't know how you left them all behind. Sounds like a the best kind of vacation - a relaxing one. enjoy. g

I can't believe you didn't buy any of these!
That grape trivet made from the crocheted bottle caps takes me back. I haven't seen one of those in decades. Well that makes me sound old, doesn't it?

Wow! You made me so happy with your antique tour. My Mom used a green Soreno glass salad bowl as her popcorn bowl. I never knew who made it. It brought back such great memories that I just went to ebay and bought a green popcorn bowl just like Mom's. Thanks a million for that little bit of nostalgia. You're an angel!
